Chinese Lesson: Learn to Sing a Song of Love!
Watch here if the video above doesn't play.
It's Valentine's Day next week, and I asked our students what they wanted to say to their loved ones. First of all, a big thank you to everyone who responded! I always love hearing back from our students and Yoyo Chinese would not be here if it was not for the support of our loyal students! :)
As promised, I'm here to teach you some of the common phrases you've asked about! This video is set to the tune of "Happy Birthday," and I wrote the lyrics from the responses I got back! I hope this song can help make it easier for you to remember!
How to ask someone about their Valentine's Day Plans
I included the Chinese, Pinyin, and English translation below, and I hope you have as much fun learning the song as I did writing it! :) I hope you can use it this week to express your love to that special someone!
Happy Valentine's Day to You!
nǐ shì wǒ de zhī jǐ
You are my soul mate
nǐ shì wǒ de wéi yí
You are my only one (love).
wǒ yǒng yuǎn ài nǐ
I love you forever.
qíng rén jié kuài lè
Happy Valentine's Day!
Let us know if you used this song! If you record a video of yourself singing this song, please send us a link! :)
