We're Having a Contest!

To celebrate the release of 3 new levels in our Chinese Character Reader Course and paperback series, we're having a contest!

In the spirit of learning to read and write these amazing 汉字 - Chinese characters - we want to know: what is your favorite Chinese character?

We'll also pick our favorite submissions and give these lucky winners our Character Reader Course AND the paperback physical books in the series FOR FREE!

How to Join

All you need to do is submit a short video sharing your favorite Chinese character to join the contest! 

It doesn't need to be anything fancy - you can use your computer or tablet camera, or just put your smart phone on selfie mode and start filming!  

Your video should include: 

1. Your name, where you live, and how long you've been studying Chinese.

2. An explanation of your favorite character, including:

• What it looks like (draw it, print it out, show us on your tablet... however you can get it on screen!)
• How it's pronounced
• What it means
• A word that uses this character
• Why it's your favorite character

3. Send your video, or a link to the video on Youtube to info@yoyochinese.com!
