Join Our Phrase of the Day MONTH 1 CONTEST!

WEIWEI LIU | FEBRUARY 23, 2020

If you've been following our Chinese Phrase of the Day series with Yoyo Chinese 老师 (lǎo shī) - teacher - Wei Wei: CONGRATULATIONS! You've now finished one full month of learning Chinese!

To celebrate, we're having a contest!

How to Enter the Contest

All you need to do is make a short video introducing yourself in Chinese using as many phrases from Weeks 1-4 of our Chinese Phrase of the Day lessons as you can. It's that simple!

We'd also love if you share (in English or Chinese) why you love learning Chinese, and why you love studying with Yoyo Chinese.

Send the video (or a link to the video) to info@yoyochinese.com to enter the challenge!

Deadline to Submit Your Video

The deadline to enter is Monday, March 2nd, so you have one week to make the video and send it to us!

The Prizes

3 lucky students who send in videos will win lifetime access to our Beginner Conversational Course for free!

Better yet - everyone who submits a video will get a 20% promo code reward!

Not only is this a great chance to get the Beginner course - with 200 video lessons, audio review mp3s, dialogue replays, lecture notes pdfs, interactive flashcards and quizzes - it's a chance for you to be brave, be proud, and share your new Chinese skills!

Tips for Making Your Video

  • Keep it simple - just use your mobile phone, tablet, or webcam!
  • Make sure the phone is horizontal for the full screen 'landscape' view
  • Put light in front of you (or sit by a window) so your face is well lit
  • Make sure we can see your whole face
  • Practice a few times before filming (it doesn't look great if you are reading something off screen!)
  • Relax and have fun! Feel good about challenging yourself and making progress!
